About Us
Rooted in culture, united in community — learn about who we are and what drives us.
A Community Built on Pride and Purpose
The Tamang Society of Canada was born from a shared longing — a desire to keep the rich Tamang culture alive while building a new life in Canada. Incorporated in Ontario in 2019, the society has grown from a small circle of visionaries into a vibrant, registered community organisation.
Since our founding, we have organised cultural celebrations, supported families in need, and built a strong network of Tamang Canadians who take pride in their heritage. We believe that cultural identity is a strength, and we are committed to nurturing it for generations to come.
Today, based in Brampton, Ontario, we continue to grow — welcoming every Tamang individual and family who calls Canada home. Our tagline says it best: Our Culture, Our Community, Our Future.
"Preserving our roots while embracing our future."
